In 1985, Sarah premiered Mr Lloyd Webber's Requiem in New York and London, for which she received a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Classical Artist. That year she also made her operatic debut as Valencienna in The Merry Widow for New Sadler's Wells Opera. She has two Number 1 albums to her credit: Requiem (classical charts, 1985) and The Phantom of the Opera (1987) and has also appeared on the cast albums of Nightingale (1982) and Song & Dance (1984). Sarah can currently be heard as Carrie Pipperidge on the new MCA recording of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel and on a solo recording of Benjamin Britten folk songs on the HMV Angel Label.

Limited edition set of Phantom of the Opera. This is a 3 disc set. It is region 3 so needs to be played on a multi region, it does have subtitles but is spoken in English. The first 2 discs are the film. The 3rd disc behind the mask, is a documentary following the start of Phantom, from when Gaston Leroux wrote it, to Lon Chaney, the first ever film and most when Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman, showing clips of the stage show, took it to the stage and how Andrew Lloyd Webber started to take an interest in Phantom and how it all started from there in 1984, to the huge phenomenon it is today, leading up to the making of the big screen production.
