All smiles as Sarah meets the Lloyd Webbers
By BAZ BAMIGBOYE © Daily Mail
A SMILING Sarah Brightman hits just the right note as she meets Andrew Lloyd Webber and the woman who replaced her as his wife. The three were at a champagne supper at the Savoy Hotel when they met up, and Sarah and Madeleine laughed and talked like old friends. ‘I think we have a lot in common,’ Sarah joked. Earlier they were both made to work for their supper at a charity gala held at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, to raise about £200,000 for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
Sarah, who was divorced from the millionaire composer last year, sang a new song by her ex-husband, Free as a Bird which he composed especially for the RSPB fund raiser, Carnival for the Birds. Madeleine, who is the third Mrs Lloyd Webber, was one of the evening’s three hosts. The Opera House gala, organised by Wayne Sleep, included ballerina Darcey Bussell and stars from the Bolshoi Ballet. Most of them wore costumes designed by Jasper Conran and Anthony Price. |
